Please Please Me fue el primer álbum grabado por los Beatles, lanzado el 22 de marzo de en el Reino Unido. Su publicación acompaña el inicio de laBeatlemanía, después del éxito de los sencillos «Please Please Me» (nº 1 en varias listas musicales inglesas, pero solo nº 2 en el Record Retailer) y «Love Me Do» (nº 17 en el Record Retailer). Además de los cuatro títulos en los singles, el álbum contiene diez canciones grabadas el día 11 febrero de en los estudios EMI de Abbey Road, durante una sesión de grabación maratoniana de 585 minutos (9 horas y 45 minutos). El disco contiene ocho canciones que fueron compuestas por John Lennon y Paul McCartney, temprana evidencia de lo que Rolling Stone denominó posteriormente como «[la invención por parte de ellos] de la idea de un grupo de música rock hecho a sí mismo, escribiendo sus propios éxitos y tocando sus propios instrumentos musicales». The Beatles ' Second Album ° ~  Vinilo LP  ~  Edición Americana   ~  Prensado  "Capitol Morado  ST- "   ~ Es el segundo álbum de estudio estadounidense del cuarteto de Liverpool, y fue editado por la compañía discográfica "Capitol Records". Publicado el 10 de abril de , contenía cinco canciones originales del segundo LP británico de la banda: "With The Beatles", además de canciones provenientes de diferentes discos de diferente formato, lanzados en el Reino Unido entre los años y , por ejemplo, el tema "Thank You Girl" (la canción del lado B del sencillo británico "A Hard Day's Night") y el sencillo "She Loves You"/"I'll Get You". La canción "You Can't Do That" provenía de la cara 2 del álbum británico "A Hard Day's Night", por lo tanto, el tema no aparecía en la película de mismo nombre. También se incluyeron dos nuevas canciones, "Long Tall Sally" y "I Call Your Name", que dos meses más tarde serían lanzadas en el Reino Unido en el EP "Long Tall Sally". Llegó al #1 en el "Billboard Hot 100" en Estados Unidos, relevando a su álbum anterior "Meet The Beatles!" del primer puesto, así, era la primera vez que un artista se substituía a sí mismo con un álbum en el número uno de este listado. A diferencia de los álbumes británicos de la banda, este álbum estaba compuesto exclusivamente por canciones de ritmo rápido, y por esta razón era el álbum favorito de algunos aficionados y críticos de rock, "The Beatles' Second Album se mantiene quizás como el mejor álbum de puro rock and roll que se haya editado jamás de toda la música del grupo", se llegó a escribir en una reseña en el portal musical "Allmusic". Este álbum tiene la única "verdadera" versión en estéreo de la canción "Thank You Girl", no editada en ningún otro álbum británico o americano, con excepción del álbum "The Beatles Beat" lanzado en Alemania. Además, en esta canción incluída en este álbum, se siente un eco añadido a su sonido, versión que únicamente aparece en ejemplares de "The Beatles' Second Album". En este álbum, la canción "Money (That's What I Want)" estaba acreditada de forma extraña, como compuesta por Berry-Gordy-Bradford en la etiqueta del disco, aunque, para su primera versión interpretada por el cantante americano Barrett Strong, apareció firmada originalmente como J. Bradford & B. Gordy en . El tema "Please Mister Postman" estaba acreditado sólo a Brian Holland en la edición original de este álbum, aún habiéndose acreditado a Dobbins-Garrett-Brianbert (Brianbert = Brian Holland y Robert Bateman) en la canción original interpretada por las "Marvelettes" en . °  Disco en insuperable estado de conservación, prensado Capitol Morado  ° Las etiquetas centrales se encuentran en excelente estado de conservación, sin desgaste visible. El disco se encuentra impecable, ambas caras como nuevas, además, el sonido es extraordinario, sin defecto alguno durante su reproducción. La cubierta del disco está practicamente nueva, sin el menor daño aparente, impecable.
